Our Nightly Routine

March 1, 2019

After lots of practice, my kids are pretty used to this routine. Most nights, shortly after 7, I get a little while to breathe and spend time with The Daddy if he’s home before I pass out from exhaustion and do the whole thing again the next day.

The winter weather is a month past “getting old” and now we’re just straight up irritated. But while we’re stuck inside fighting the winter blues, there’s a few things I’ve gotten a little bit of joy from.

It was a lot of little things. My body felt healthier. Less sugar cravings, less brain fog, better umm… “bathroom habits”. I can’t comment on the fatigue because I still have young children so that doesn’t seem to go away.

Besides bundle your kids up (twice – because someone will need to pee 3 minutes after they’re fully dressed) and sending them outside hoping for the best, what can a lazy Momma do on a snow day?
