Ahh, Small Business. When I started my career in graphic design I had pretty much no budget for new equipment. Buying my Silhouette Cameo was a HUGE investment for me. A great investment, but as a newbie at life still trying to figure out the work at home Mom gig, it was expensive.

My Home Office

Since that was really the only big purchase I could (barely) afford, I spent a few years hauling out my iron and ironing board when it came time to make shirts. I was even TURNING DOWN BUSINESS because it was such a pain, especially when someone was looking for a lot of shirts.

A heat press had been on my wish-list for a while, until I finally decided to make it my birthday present.

If you’ve spent even a small amount of time on my blog, Facebook page, or really just stepped foot into my house, you probably have a good guess what my favorite color is:

Teal. The happiest color on earth.

Yes, I spent a few months with teal hair – and I LOVED IT

So when I was browsing Amazon and found one that was affordable and teal?

The choirs of angels sang in my head.

I know $150-200 is NOT affordable for everyone. Like I said, I spent years using my iron. By the Grace of God, business has been picking up and I’m reinvesting my profits to grow CreativeMess Graphic Design.

I LOVE MY HEAT PRESS!!!

I’m really glad I bought it. The Daddy had me nervous, he’s one of those who reads every review. There’s good and bad. I personally have not had any issues. I love it!

It makes shirt-making so much easier!

See what I mean about that tight budget? I spent a long time working on that broken computer screen. I even started my blog with that broken computer screen.

Are you looking to buy a heat press for your business on a tight budget?

This is the one for you!

Do you use a heat press? Do you love it? Tell me about it in the comments 🙂
